In a long distance relationship and mostly we communicate by chatting including voice chats too. The thing is that sometimes he comes online and only talks with me when he's good and ready. What should I make of that. I mean I come to work sick or not just so I get to talk to him and he comes online and won't even say hi until he's ready. Maybe I'm attention grabbing I don't know. Let me know what you think.

If he wants to be a dork and not respond (when you know he's online) then you need to shut the computer off and go about your life meeting people who WILL talk to you when you are around .

are you IMing him first and he's just not responding till he's ready? or are you just waiting on him to start the IM all the time? if you are waiting on him all the time, he may just be tired of always starting the conversation, or he's not sure of your feelings for him! If you start the IM and he doesn't respond till he's ready, then it sounds (unfortunately) like he's not all that interested. I have a guy friend that would do that, and I told him I was sick of playing his game, and that if he wanted to talk to me, he knew where I was. He doesn't IM anymore. you are better off in that case finding someone else.
