There is no mention of this woman in the Quran. The Holy Book relates in detail the life of Jesus and his mother Mary, both figures having very special status in Islam, but the incidents related to the other Mary seem to be too irrelevant or insignificant to be mentioned.

No, to the best of my readings. Mary the Virgin and the miracles of mylord Jesus Christ are mentioned in greater details than in the Gospels. The Holy Qur'an has 114 chapters. One is named The Mary, 3 others are about the tribe of Mary the Virgin(AlImran); one (alMaida) about a miracle of mylord, at the asking of his noble companions;one named after BaniIsrael~the community of mylord. And there is greater praise and more miracles of the jesus Christ in the Holy Qur'an than in the Bible. This is not an attempt at comparisons, merely answering a query.
