Are Israelis trying to eliminate Palestinians?

I hear this from some people. Is it true?

If that was the goal, they could have done it long ago. No, the Israelis want nothing more than to live in peace and prosperity with all of their neighbors, including going so far as to create a new country out of their own land for the palestinians. Unfortunately, this desire is completely one-sided.

The Palestinians were kind to welcome the Jews as refugees after what happened in the WWII . Instead the Jews formed armed settlements in Palestine and started attacking the Palestinians.Several massacres were committed by the Jews against the Palestinians in 1948 so they can steal their land. A strange reward for the welcoming Palestinians.
I find it surprising that U.S. celebrates 4th of July when they kicked out the British while they are denying the Palestinians the right to kick out the Jewish intruders from their homeland and instead supporting the Jewish occupation of Palestine!!!!!

Yes, unfortunately the hard core Zionists (not all Israelis, just the religious fanatics who run the government) are out to control all of the Middle East. The Palestinians are just in the way, when they've finished destroying them, they'll move on to someone else.
This is what happens when a group of people nearly gets exterminated, as soon as they get any power they feel justified in doing the same thing.

Some people need to get some facts straight.
Israel has been hated by almost all the occupants in the Middle East, Palestine included. Their only objective is to eradicate Israel from the face of the earth. But why would they want this small sliver of land?
Israel has been a thorn in the side of he Arabs/Islams for centuries. Israel is the only land that God declared for these people AND declared its boundaries.
The Palestines can't even find a home within the Arab world. They want Israel, they want Jerusalem, not until Megiddo will the final battle be drawn for Jerusalem.

Even Jews can't answer dis question.I know they r of d same origin (from the same great grand parent, just like the neightboring Arabian) except their religion or belief. Only GOD, or if U do beliveve in NEXT Live (after Death) (reincarnation) no one know U'll be Christian or Muslim.
WHY Kill for the religious differences. Religion/s are weapon/s for some irresponsible leaders, and the numbers are many.
Palestinian leaders should review their historical background and claim the land they deserve.

If Israel truly wanted to eliminate the Palestinians, they could do it. They have superior weapons and technology. They don't do it because they don't want to. Not too long ago, Israel vacated the Gaza strip; forcing Israeli citizens out of their home. They just want peace like the rest of us.

Depends on who you talk to. The initial comments seem to be from those who are pro-Israel.

The Palestinians would argue that their land was forcibly taken from them by the UN and they've been trying to get it back ever since. There's also been animosity reaching back even further than that. It does not help that other nations are getting involved.

Both sides are killing each other.

Actually, it's the other way around. If the Palestinians didn't HATE the Jews, and would leave them alone, they wouldn't have so many problems with them. But, if you attack them, the Jews are NOT going to "Turn the other cheek."
