I have a problem and its eating way too much chocolate. If i go without chocolate for long periods of time. I get the craving for chocolate. So what is it about chocolate that's so addictive? And why do we even bother eating it at all?

Next to coffee, it is the most totally addictive substance. It is sweet and yummy and full of antioxidants and caffine (and in the case of women it is craved because it is a natural source of estrogen). I prefer semi-sweet dark chocolates. But just about any chocolate is cool by me!!

Oh, did I mention chocolate has a blend of over five hundred flavors, two and a half times more than any other food......I rest my case.

Chocolate has caffeine. It is quite addictive. Try quitting chocolate, coffee, colas with caffeine. It's as bad as cigarettes.
