That is the problem with caffeine... you eventually have to increase your dosage to get that same jolt that you received when you first started it.

Red Bull has less caffeine than you think, and if you really are a caffeine junky, you might have to start coffee.

My suggestion though is to ditch the stimulants. Get enough sleep each night so you don't have to rely on these often times sugar-laden drinks. Find energy through fitness and your desire to find life exciting. You'll find your mood and sleeping patterns will be improved without the use of stimulants.

I only use caffeine on very rare occasions and am happier because I don't have to have this stuff in my life and nobody has ever told me that I don't have enough energy to do things.

Good luck.

Well, first of all Red Bull and all the other "Energy drinks" are no different from drinking a soda as they all contain sugar and caffeine. Most of the energy drinks just get these substances from herbs. The only way to have energy is to be healthy...exercise, eat right, and most importantly get plenty of sleep.

Unfortunately, you have set yourself up for a problem. By drinking that, which has caffiene equal to jet fuel, your body had become immune to it. You don't realize what that is doing to your body.

I suggest you take a completely different approach before your health begins to suffer, if it hasn't already. You need to slowly withdraw from your addiction to caffiene. Then you need to eat healthy, get the rest you need, drink pleanty of water and exercise.

You need to care for your body, then you will have the energy you need. Chronic lack of energy can be serious, it means something is not right or you are ill in some way.

Take a break for a few days. Over time, our bodies build up a tolerance to stimulents. If you refrain from ingesting stimulents for a few days your body will re-set, so to speak. On a side note, becoming dependent on stimulents is probably not healthy in the long run. You might consider switching to something milder, like black tea.

Avoid this junk altogether. They're full of additives that a healthy body doesn't need. Get 7hrs+ sleep, up your protein, cut the fat and carbs and your energy will restore itself.
PS be prepared for withdrawal symptoms.

try not drinking as much caffine, then you will get to bed at a good hour and get some rest to have energy in the morning. you really don't need those energy drinks in the first place.
