she has had her heart broken many times, and we love each other deeply. We are in a long distance relationship, but we still talk almost 3-5 times a day. Has anyone gone through something like this and regretted it?

You shouldnt be afraid of anything. Age is just a number that separates us from each other. If it is a long distance relationship it should be hard to realize how much each of you have in common so you start worring about other things that dont matter. Age is just a number and if you really like this girl you should pay more attention to her and not her age. A women deserved somone to be there for her espacially since she has had her heart broken !

Ive been in a long distance relationship and its all about trust. Age has nothing to do with it. Just be yourself and go with the flow and see what happens. Dont focus your energy on whether there should be something you should be "aware or afraid" of.

Your girlfriend being older than you has nothing to do with the situation really you will have to be very mature in all that you do about her heart being broken almost every girl has that problem but if you love her than go for it

Hmm. Just know that it will take alot more patience/understanding/acceptance on both your guys's part to make a relaitonship work. I'm seeing someone much older than me, and so far am loving every minute, but we are not in a serious relationship, to be honest, I would be hesitant to get emotionally involved with him. Just make sure to communicate alot about how you feel. If you both want it to work badly enough, you can make it happen. Good luck.

I'm sorry, I'm sure your real sweet and you guys really are in love... but long distant relationships just do not work out. It just ends up hurting everyone more in the end, then you can't even be friends. Tell her you guys would be better off apart, but when she comes to town and if she needs "company" she can come and chill wit you. ;)

I don't know about you, but I've always liked older women because of their maturity level. I never did like the games played by young woman. So I don't think anything is wrong with it as long as you're fulfilling her needs and vice versa.
