I know most my neighbors. I wave hi to one, I talk to the other, I rarely see the last. There's one recluse I've never met. Then some ppl moved in next door.
I say hi to the ones I see. Best to be on good terms, though I really don't want them in my business.

Not sure what your question was because your English is a bit broken.

I know all my neighbors. I am a very neighborly person. I have to be familiar with my surroundings so I become acquainted with those that live around me. Sometimes I wish I never met them because of their ghetto tendencies. I can't wait until my family is like George and Weezy and move up out of here. I am sure the transistion from an apartment to a house will improve the quality of neighbors. Until then, I will always acknowledge my neighbors for the simple fact that I have to live around them and want to make my stay here somewhat pleasant. This may sound like a bunch of ramble........gosh I hate my neighbors!

I moved about a year ago from a large city to a small town. Not only do I know my neighbors, I think I've met most of the town! Even people I've not yet met will stop and say good morning, hello, how are you?, etc. It's great!

I know all the neighbors on my street and the names of their dogs. What is stopping you from going over just to say 'hi' and introduce yourself? It doesn't have to be a big deal...even if you have been living next to each other for years...just hey, I wanted to come over and introduce myself...take some cookies you just baked, if you want an ice-breaker...I just made these cookies, I made too many, thought you might like some.

I agree with Elise, just make an effort to say hello. The worst they will do is turn away--at the best, you will have a new friend! Everyone on our street at least waves hi, most of us chat out in the driveways or while the kids play.

There is an old saying, that the quality (goodness) of three things in life, are decided by destiny (luck) :- 1. A good piece of equipment e.g., a car, a piece of machinery, etc. 2. A good spouse 3. Good neighbours.

I know my neighbors and we all watch out for each other!
Take time to get to know your neighbors and they might someday save your life! I once had to call an ambulance for mine! If I hadn't known her I'd have never known something was wrong!

you could go over and say hello, and say i'll watch your house if you watch mine. Or offer yourself up to baby sit or invite them over for a glass of wine and cheese, that's what me and my neighbors do !! It's fun once you get over the anxiousness of getting to know strangers, before long you'll be old friends...
