Well trust me, guys go to church to "hook up" too! A decent man is out there, I really believe that. I would think that your chances of finding one in a bar is as good as finding one anywhere, but the quality of what you call "decent" my be the real question. I don't like guys who smoke at all or drink a lot. If he's constantly in a bar, then i'd wager he's doing one or both. So it depends on what your standards of decency are.

Well sure, it's possible to find a decent guy anywhere. Just keep in mind, the general population of a bar is only looking for a good time, and nothing serious. You have to weed out the jerks before you find the prince.

sure, it's possible. Problem is that people go to bars to "hook-up." You'll have better luck at a church or grocery store if you're looking for a genuine guy to have a relationship with.
Beer makes people do and say things they normally wouldn't do or say.

Why not? But you only will find a match there if you like to be at a bar yourself.
If not, rather go to a place you feel very comfortable - you'll be more confident and you rather find someone with the same likes.
