Thats basically the only reason. Theyre marking their territory.

Dominance is the main reason for the dogs to be "marking" everything. First thing to do is to get them neutered. It is normal for a male dog to try to be the "top dog" and marking their territory is one way that they do it.
Scolding the dogs will also work, but not very well until they are neutered. Sexual urges are very strong and they are trying to let all the females in the neighborhood know that they are there and ready to breed. They are competing against each other for the ladies.

Neutering does not treatment marking, even though puppies which might be desexed BEFORE the conduct begins might mark much less usually. And I disagree that you simply "can not make male puppies quit marking their territory", on my estate are 2 male puppies and so they not ever mark interior, and rarely even mark outside; the spayed feminine right here marks territory greater than either one of them mixed, alas sufficient. As for preventing it, definately crate them while you can not watch them. Also check out constructing your management by means of training NILF within the family to aid your puppies recognize you extra.

Do you have more than one male dog in the house that has not been neutered?
If you do they are marking territory and the onther one is remarking over it. You will have this problem until you neuter or only have one intact male in the house.
Intact males will do this. It is for territory and also aform of dominance.
When you keep a dog intact for breeding you can usually one keep one male at a time.

If you have three males that is going to happen a lot. They will mark (pee) each time that one of them pee. That is natural. They are marking their territory, if one of them pee, the other will go and pee in top of that pee. That is the way it is.

It doesn't matter if they are fixed, I have a fixed male and he marks. If he sees a dog or some people he trys to mark.
A mark is like them saying one of two things: I was here or This is mine. But if one marks, other male dogs may mark over it. This isn't always the case, I have a male fixed dog that doesn't mark at all.
Sounds like a debate about who is incharge, tho. Basically you need to untrain them of this behavior. Treat it like potty training. Also you need to let them know they have to listen to you, period. Age doesn't matter. If you walk them, don't stop and let them pee on everything. Dogs are heirarchy oriented, so someone needs to be incharged, even females will mark, but it is rare.

Whoop their butt, nah just kidding. I have two male dogs and they do try to dominate eachother and the house constantly. A trainer told me to not hit them but to verbally scold them like I do my kids. Say in a very stern voice, "you see this, that is a bad boy, you dont do that" and then act as though you are really mad at them and they will constantly try to please you again. Both my dogs did that and I kept on "being mad" at them and then when they were about to pee on something they would look at me, and I would say "ah ah ah" and they would stop. Or everytime they do it, put them on a chain somewhere by their self, if they used to being with you or the other dogs. My youngest Oscar hated me to chain him by the back door and he couldnt be with Buddy or my kids. I had to be very stern with them for about 2-3 weeks and they stopped. I honestly just chastised them like I do my 5 and 2 year old and since they already think they are my kids, it worked. I would chastise my boys for something, and then the dogs go the same treatment, so they to learned their lesson.

First off, you have 3 MALE DOGS. What one of them does, the other two will follow. If one of them feels the need to mark every dogblessed thing in sight, the others will too.
Are you chastizing them when they do this? I find that dogs are actually pretty easy to train. If you say "NO! BAD DOG!" and possibly hold their nose to the spot they peed in, hopefully they'll get the idea and quit doing it.
Good luck.

Dogs have simple minds. They mark their territory. There is no other reason.
As long as you have too many dogs you will have this problem. With three dogs none of them get the attention they need.
It's the pack mentality.
You have a pack of semi-wild dogs.

It could be that you have three male dogs. Since dogs are territorial and there are three of them, they are quite concerned about their territory. Finding another owner for one of them may solve the problem
