I have babyliss pro 230 from amazon at £39.99. They are brilliant and even work like ghd's but a cheaper version. I have very thick hair which is out of control but they seem to straighten them without much hassle compared to my old ones.

i couldn't justify the price of GHD's i use Andrew Collinge digital ceramic straighteners - £34.99 Argos - this may have been a special offer but even at full price they are cheaper than GHD. also got some free styling stuff with them.

I bought Kodo straighteners. They are almost as soon as GHD's (almost but not quite) and I got them on the Internet for only £50.00. I have had them for 3 years now will no problems

Anything made by Babylon will work the best because its ceramic and wont burn your hair like metals... but they are more expensive.. i have curly hair and i suggest a 2 inch round brush in combo with your hair dryer.
