what is the difference between abayas and jilbabs?

usually jlbabs button up in the front with minimal decoration and cotton or cotton-like material. jilbabs are very simple. abayas are more sophisticated, don't button up and are made of more flowing materials. abayas have more designs on them, i.e. stitching, sequence, mulitcolor designs.

Both, abaya and jilbab are dresses for Muslim women.
Abaya, normally a black cloth
Jilbab is long tall jacket sort of, till it covers the ankles, and it could be of any color.
