Why does everyone think that God loves everyone? I know what everyone is going to write, Don't you know what John 3:16 says. For God so LOVED (past tense word) the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should no perish, but have everlasting life. Therefore, God DOESN'T love everyone. Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I HATED. I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man LOVE the world, the love of the Father is NOT in him. Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour, and HATE thine enemy.

II Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking VENGEANCE on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Question God sends people to Hell everyday. Do you really think he loves them? No. Would you send your mother to Hell? Of course not, you LOVE her. Psalms 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous and God is angry with the WICKED EVERY DAY.

First of all, when he says for God so (loved) the world, it was saying how back in the bibical days he sacrificed his only son just for our sins. And if he didn't love us, Jesus would have never been sacrificed. Second of all, when you see red in the bible, then Christ is talking so Jesus wasn't talking. And 1 John 2:15 means love people but not things of the world because things of the world are sins. We were all born into sin that is why we get saved. That means you don't love anyone or anything else the God. ( not even your parents. They come second in your life after the trinity( the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.) And third of all, the bible is saying that there is a time for everything. And fourth of all, if you read the next verse it says,"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to you that hate you, and pray for them that dispitrfully use you, and persecute you."

God loves all. Let me try and answer your statements. Starting with John 3:16. This past means nothing. Why? Because WAS, IS and IS TO COME. God says in His Word "A thousand years is one day and one day a thousand years. God has LOVED the world since ever.

Romans 9:13. Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated. When Adam tried to hide from God in the Garden of Eden, God was calling 'Adam where are you?'...You think God did not know where Adam was. No! God was asking rather..."Adam where is your heart...it is not with me? Why do you hide."
So with this Romans verse, see it as God saying, 'I have loved all Jacob has done for me. I love his heart but Esau's heart I despise. God does not hate the sinner...but He hates the sin!

I John 2:15. Eaxactly right. The love of the Father is not in him. This doesn't mean God doesn't love the man but that he doesn't hold the Love in his heart, that God asks for. If God didn't love him, would God not say, "The Love of the Father is not WITH him."

Ecclesiates 3:8. Yes. Hate the kingdom of darkness. Hate evil. Hate demons and the Devil. 'A time to hate.' There is a time to hate...hate the evil when you see it. Hate the works of demons and the devil when you see it in play. A time to love, meaning you should love what God says. Do not love evil but hate it. However, do not hate the man who does evil, love him, just hate his actions.

Matthew 5:43. If you read the whole Bible, time and time again you will see what 'the enemy' is. The enemy is Satan and his kingdom. It does not say Hate YOUR enemy. Because it isn't refering to personal matters. 'Enemy' is Satan. Love thy neighbour...again it does not say YOUR...for if it did, it would mean you only have to love the people in your street. However it means love the people all around the world.

This thing about going to hell. Let me ask you this. If you were without sin. You never did wrong and say your mum murdered someone and the law was after her. You knew where she was so would you hand her in to recieve her punishment. (God Forbid.) But would you? Remembering you're perfect and without sin. Yes you would because hiding her would be wrong! Though you still love her. Same as God. God is perfect. Therefore the actions of the wrong are punishable and God sends them to be punished. Does not mean He does not Love them.

I hope I have helped in answering your question. Seek God and your questions will be answered. In Jesus name. Amen.

'Know this...There is only one true God and you will see the Son of God returning on the clouds.'

God is loving, but He is also a just judge. By His obligation to carry out justice, God must punish the wicked for thier lawless deeds (the violation of His standard of righteousness, the 10 Commandments), no matter how much he loves them and would rather acquit them of all their guilt. The Bible says God pours out His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who supress the truth by their wickedness. God would love NOT to send a sinner to hell more than He "loves them" so much that He cannot help but to let the lawless into heaven. Only a corrupt judge would let the guilty go free!

Only he who repents and trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord will EVER be granted access into the kingdom of heaven. Without the blood of Jesus, no may will ever be able to stand in the presence of a holy and righteous Lord.

Yes, God does love everyone in the whole world!
YOU, ME, EVERYONE!

Definition:

Hate
HATE, v.t. [L. odi, for hodi.]

1. To dislike greatly; to have a great aversion to. It expresses less than abhor, detest, and abominate, unless pronounced with a peculiar emphasis.

How long will fools hate knowledge? Prov 1.

Blessed are ye when men shall hate you. Luke 6.

The Roman tyrant was contented to be hated, if he was but feared.

2. In Scripture, it signifies to love less.

If any man come to me, and hate not father and mother, &c. Luke 14.

He that spareth the rod, hateth his son. Prov 13.

HATE, n. Great dislike or aversion; hatred.

LOVED: is only past tense because someone else is making the discription, and in the way the verse in John 3:16 is written, "Loved" is appropriate after the fact that its says; "That He gave His only begotten Son, that who so-ever believeth in Him should not perish, but "HAVE" everlasting life.

1Jo 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

1. From the inconsistency of this love with the love of God: If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him, 1Jo_2:15. The heart of man is narrow, and cannot contain both loves. The world draws down the heart from God; and so the more the love of the world prevails the more the love of God dwindles and decays.
2. From the prohibition of worldly love or lust; it is not ordained of God: It is not of the Father, but is of the world, 1Jo_2:16. This love or lust is not appointed of God (he calls us from it), but it intrudes itself from the world; the world is a usurper of our affection. Now here we have the due consideration and notion of the world, according to which it is to be crucified and renounced.

Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. Romans 9:18.

The LORD detests the way of the wicked
but he loves those who pursue righteousness
Proverbs 15:9

Again and again I sent my servants the prophets, who said, 'Do not do this detestable thing that I hate!' Jeremiah 44:4

You see, God send us, his saints, to spread the word and give people a "Choice" to spend eternity with God or to be with evil ways of the earth and spend eternity in Hell. The perfect thing about God is that he gives you a choice... Do the right thing and choice eternal life through Jesus Christ. God is perfect and complete in everything. Perfect in Love, judgement, and even Hate.

John 3:16 uses the past tense because it is referencing the past event of Christ's death for our sins. That should be obvious...

The other verse you quote you are distorting the context. Most every word in language has more than one meaning/usage. In Romans 9:13 the context of the word "hated" means "rejected".

Again, you need to read the context of the other verses you quote. You are simply reaching wrong conclusions that go against what is written.

Yes God loves everyone because God gave Jesus for everyone.
Just because some do not accept Christ does not mean God's love for them stops. HIS love continues forever. Even when we reject Christ and go to Hell because of that rejection God's love is still there but in Hell HIS love is no longer active. Thats why it is hell.

God really loves everyone... in John 3:16 "For God so LOVED"... it means that God knew everything... he loved the whole world even before God created humans ( Got it )... He loves everyone before his creation,, because he knows everything about you ...
1 Ti : 2:3-4
"3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."Doesn't that mean he loves everyone...

In Romans 9:13...
Read this in Ro 1:28 " And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"..
that doesn't mean that god don't love them , but he tries so hardly with them to return to his love... but they just "didn't like to retain God in their knowledge".. then God just gave them over to a reprobate mind.. as they knew many things about God, but they don't want him and they don't want his love.. that's the same what happened to Esau.. in Ge 25:34 "thus Esau despised his birthright." he despised his birthright for launch...

You forgot the rest of the "hate thine enemy" one, Jesus goes on to say He wants you to also LOVE your enemy because even the tax collectors love those who love them....but how much greater it is to love your enemies because that actually takes work. God does love everyone. He gives everyone a chance to love him and receive His forgiveness through Jesus, but that is all up to you. He gave you a choice, free will, He loves you, but He won't make you love Him back.

yes.... GOD IS LOVE 1 JOHN 4:16
"LOVE YOUR ENEMIES. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HURT YOU" Matthew 5:44
Love your neighbor as you love yourself.... Luke 10:27

you can't just pick random verses to understand the greatness and wonderfulness of God's LOVE for you.... you have to read it all. taken out of context, you can make the Bible say just about anything you want ... but that doesn't make it true.

The TRUTH will set you free...................
