if its hands on then i would suggest doing some type of plant. It is easier to take care of and you dont really have to worry about cleaning up after it lol if its more of a research type of deal, go to your nearest library and get to reading!

In a closed environment, what is the ratio of plants to fish required to sustain both. In other words, how much plant life is needed to produce sufficient oxygen and food to support the fish and how many fish are required to produce carbon dioxide in sufficient quantities to sustain plants.
You will of course need a plant that is a water plant and does not need to root.
