you dont necessarily need to bulk in order to add strength. Do low rep high weight excercises to exhaustion, close to your max. Totally different than you would if you wanted to add bulk.

if u need bulk u have to (don't kill me now :) ) eat more, better at nights.. but it should be like this:
be very active, train something, run about 4 km a day..
it is not hard.. in first time it is, but while time passes u will "get addicted to run".. but after running do about 400 push-ups (in series - 20 x 20) and in pause do 10 times excercises for stomach (dont know how it is in english).. by the time u have to enlarge number of series..
and yea, the best meal for it is grounded biscuit in milk.. u can mix it with vanilla sugar and some other staff for shake..

Strength...You'll add bulk in the process, under the proper diet.

Focusing on Bulk...is only to impress people. ( That explains rampant steroid use. )

Avoid Fast Foods, Have protein and carb rich diet. To increase bulk you only have to do one thing i.e. lift more weights for less time with less repetitions.
