Who said Love equates directly to inclusion? Those people who are antithetical to the Christian faith are not capable of fellowship with those who believe. This does not mean that people of faith do not care about those who are outside the fellowship, but all inclusive ecumenicism can be confusing and create a mixed and false message.

... i really don't know. but that's something that has always bothered me too. but then again, we are human and we make mistakes and do stupid stuff. so true, although jesus spoke about love and "loving ur neighbor as urself", we tend to read into select parts of what we hear, so that it can accomodate our opinions. if this was a perfect world, everyone would love one another and accept each other for their differences and imperfections. but its not... i guess the best thing to do is to try and break the exclusions and try and be more like Jesus and love everyone... even if the whole world isn't doing the same.

How do you mean exclusion? Jesus told the woman who had been caught in the commission of adultery not to sin anymore. Jesus told the woman at the well that she needed to make some changes if she wanted her worship to be approved of by God. Clearly, Jesus recognized that standards were in place and had to be met. Yes?

Jesus will be glad to accept you just as you are, but hon, if you are not transformed by what you experience, then it's not a true thing, is it?

The problem is that people want us to accept them into our church but they have no desire to change who they are. They want to bring their dirty rags into our midst and continue to wear them, despite our offer of clean clothes. Then call us awful names for even trying to help them.

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

If Jesus died for our sins, he should be dead, dead, dead!
