Religious right claims gay marraige will "destroy souls"
Anyone in vermont had satan show up and say now that your state has gay marriage I claim ownership of your soul?
Yeah I didn't think so. Ok. But I'm sure I'm to be preached at by the BTBS.

I'm with you, I don't understand how someone else doing something is supposed to harm the hard-core christians. What possible harm can come from allowing two people who love each other to publicly commit to spending their lives together? I guess they're so worked up about it because they're afraid that their own son/daughter might suddenly think it's OK to be gay if the state allows gay marriage -- showing how insecure they are in their own beliefs. Sad, isn't it.
I'm not gay, and I'm married -- but I don't feel any threat from allowing other people to make the same public statement of commitment that I did :)

Hell, my self confidence was shattered all the way over here in the middle east by gay marriage in Vermont. My soul only just survived the impact.

OH p l e a s e ! How long will this subject be with us? Why can't we let go of this. Let anyone do what they want to do with their lives. I have great gay friends and wish them all the very best. It is not an easy life in our judgemental society. Lets get a life and let everyone live their life too.

Your soul is a natural cognitive product of your brain, like emotions, intelligence,language etc. To destroy you soul, your brain must be first destroyed. Anything that can destroy the brain, destroys the soul.

Awww hon, why do you care? You've turned your face from God long ago, and He does not know you ... so what do you care if someone's soul is destroyed along with yours?
