Indeed. I laugh at all who go to religious buildings and talk to the ceiling, sing songs to somone who isnt there and read from a big book of fiction!

Tom, look around you right now. If you are inside find something, the house, a chair, your computer anything. Now, did it take intelligent design to create that at which you look? Someone had to come up with the idea, plan a design and physically make it. Find something, anything in the room you are in that just popped up by itself. How much more complicated is the universe or say you than the things you logically can see required intelligent design.Denying the existence of God does not release you from the responsibility to obey him anymore than claiming ignorance of human laws will keep you out of trouble for braking them.

look at it this way....you can belive that nothing made you or you can have the belief that you came from an orgin called called God....thats how i see it. The chances of amino acids coming togather to form a single cell that evolved into a human are as of the chances tat a tornado would go through a junk yard and make a 747 ready to take off!(stated by sir fredick hoyle)

some people believe that god isnt real because they cant see him. you cant see the wind does that mean that it is not real? Everything around u, everything u can see, hear and touch is proof that god is real.
have u got any thing to prove that god isnt real? Have u got any proof that u are real?
you know i've said 'real' so much that it's starting to not make sense.

Religion is a touchy, touchy subject with people here, they take any opposing views to heart and can't accept that not everyone agrees. How do you people live in this world if opposing views make you angry and defensive.
Just like Tom, everyone has the right to believe what they want and shouldn't be critisized for it.

Some people need to believe in a higher power and an afterlife to make sense of their reason for being. Religion isn't for me, but I definately see it as a good thing for alot of people. I liken it to a childs security blanket; doenst hurt anyone, so let em' have it.... Just dont push it on me.

Can you see the wind? No, but you can see the affects of the wind. It is the same with God. I have seen many lives changed and miraculous things happen because of God.
