Possible short in the line or break in the wire

Check the turn signal relay. They're $.50 from a hardware store, probably $10 from the dealer. They do burn out, though it's rarer than a blown bulb or fuse. If you had a short, you'd smell it. The turn signals are hard wired, not on a communication bus, so installing the stereo shouldn't affect them. The only (extremely unlikely) way it could would be by drawing so much power that the turn signals don't have enough to power the relay or bulb. If that was the case, you'd have problems with everything else that draws power from the battery as well (like starting the car).

You may want to start at the battery to be sure the wires are not off or frayed. Also some vehicles lighting systems won't work if even one light is not working. A continuous circuit has to be maintained. If you recently had a stereo put in or something done to the electrical system, it may just be a crossed or overloaded wiring system. Look for fuse links as well.

There are too many items that are out on your vehicle that to me indicates it's a fuse. Look at the fuse box. The fact that you had a new radio put in tells me that it probably is the fuse.

Depending on whether it is the front or rear turnsignal that is out, and the yr. model of the vehicle, it could be a circuit board. the board would be attached to the rear tail light housing.

Did you check the bulbs and the ground?

the switch probably needs to be replaced probably. Are the hazards on the same switch as the signals?

Perhaps you pulled a wire when you were installing the stereo?
