The ambulance is on the way to help people, think of it that way. It is not a question of the noise but someone needs help. One day it may be you and you would be so happy to hear the sirens.

It's on its way to help someone in dire medical need. It needs to make noise because people are not always quick to move out of the way when they see its lights flashing. Since one of my family members needed an ambulance once, I understand the urgency whenever I see an ambulance.

You probably live close to a hospital. Therefore, you are bound to hear an ambulance all the time responding to emergency calls ect.

Either they need ppl to clear the street to save a life or they are trying to make it to McDonald's before they close.
