Depends what you mean. Grammatically, French, Spanish and German are more complicated than others. Scandinavian languages are grammatically simpler, but have a lot of nuance on the idioms side.
It depends what languages you already know too. For a Spanish speaker, learning Italian is easier than learning Dutch. For a Norwegian, it's easier to learn Dutch than Greek. For English speakers... No particular advantages except a very vague similarity to many Germanic languages.
It depends, really.

your mother tounge , the language you are born with, most would say english, but i would disagree though my mother tounge is english, i say english is
difficult to master, grammer of the english language is very hard, the vowels , the dipthongs and sounds are difficult for example ut is ut, but is but ,you would not pronounce but and put in the same way like that there are many words that are pronounced differently i am not an expert in languages but i do think any language is difficult unless you study and practise daily, if you are looking to educate your self, english is an univeral language go for it,

spanish: because it's logical and its spoken EXACTLY the way it is written unlike english (example: stone and scone, pronounced differently)
english is easy but it is entirely illogical and full of homonymes
french is easy but a pain in the *** when written

Based on a latin alphabet ... Spanish, presuming you don't speak any latin based language to begin with. It's true it sounds mostly like it is written.
