It will take time to mend a broken heart. I know.... I know this is an old cliche. It may even be hard to go out - especially when so many places and things remind you.
Surround yourself with caring family and friends. Don't hang with others that did not like your love - they will only say hurtful things. Try to get around experienced "broken hearts" and as Reba MacIntyre says, "For My Broken Heart" - I guess the world ain't gonna stop on my broken heart" Hang in there!

There is no one answer... it depends on you... what you need to heal and move past... take your time heal at your own speed and do what makes you feel better not what others say will make you feel better, you are really the only person who can get you past this... not that a pet or stuffed animal to cuddle with doesn't help a little! Good luck and remember your heart breaks only a little for the wrong one but it is that little break that makes your heart stronger to be ready for the right one! :)

Rebound, baby! After being with someone for a while, you have the tendancy to forget that you are attractive to other people. Once you're back on the market & out having fun, it'll be a lot easier to get over the break up.

Take a shower, go on a long walk (or run laps at the local track), remind yourself that you are not a horrible person and get back out there and live your life.
