I have included a link in my sources which has an extensive list of some garden and household plants that can be poisonous to your dog, provided by the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. If you follow the links on each individual plant, you can view a picture of what that plant looks like, as well as the clinical signs that your dog has ingested it and is having a reaction.
I hope this list proves useful to you!

I recently asked that question in puppy class we had our dog in. I had heard that the berries from poinsettas at Christmas were bad for them.
The only things our trainer said were to check the internet, that she did not know of any that were really considered bad off the bat.
Something she did tell us was bad for dogs was onions.
