Hotdog. My grandparents have a brown dachshund named Buddy...that may be another idea. And I always liked Ace for a pet, for some reason.

I always thought that a cute name for a dachshund would be, "Diggity." (especially for a little boy)

I dont know what you should name it but dont be ina big hurry to give it a name as sson as you get it hoe. Give it a day or two so you can watch your new puppy. they have personalitys too and as you watch him something will come to you and you will just know thats the right one.

That's a good question. We almost did not get our dog because the four of us could not agree on a name.
