Graveside services entail embalming, the cost of a coffin, a speaker, flowers, etc. Look into services such as 'Simpler Times' that offer the most basic cremation, no wakes or servies. The directors are kind and understanding that not everyone can afford the elaborate set-ups some families can.

Cremated probably although you can get some pretty expensive urns. Funeral houses are trying to make more money out of it. There is a huge shift going on for people leaning toward being cremated. Way back whenever, it wasn't even thought of as an option.
Graveside costs about $5000 versus Cremated about $3000.
I saw this on a news program on TV about a week ago.

i think cremated. to have a grave, you need to pay for the land, coffin, and gravestone

cremation is cheaper, more environent friendly and more "dramatic" (you can have your ashes scattered at your favorite place).
