I would say you should listen to your eye care professional. There is no contact that is better than the other for everyone. They are best on an individual basis, so what is best for me wouldn't probably be best for you.
I wear an Optix Lens though for 60 days. They are clear. I wear the FreshLook disposibles if I want a colored contact, usually I just stick with my clear though. That is what is best for me.
My husband wears a totally different lens.

I really like the monthly ones just because you get more and if something should happen (one tears, don't have the $$$, etc.) you always have a supply that you can reuse for a week or a few if need be.
