ive bin hangin around wit this group of ppl n theres this guy n girl who hav this secret relationship going on.. i no bout it but still ended up snoggin him a couple of wks ago, the other girl treats him like dirty, beats him up n calls him all the names under the sun! since r snog we hav bin txtin alot n there hav bin looks between us, n i feel that me n him cud b gud together but am i bein stupid thinkin that him n his secret bird will stay apart from each other if ne thing did happen between us?

Men fall for the wrong girls for the same reason girls fall for the wrong boys. Face it, relationships are complicated things and there is so much emotion involved it is difficult to know what you really want.
Unless he is clear that he wants nothing to do with her (because she treats him bad) then consider this a big red flag to not have a relationship with him. Either he is having an unhealthy relationship with her already (and you don't want to the "other" woman) or he is a player and is just using her (and will use you also).

Some men just fall for the first girl to lay them properly, immaterial of how they are treated any other time...
He may secretly like it, or is too shy, or scared to dump her... maybe he doesn't want week old fish in his underwear drawer... Or one arm of all his shirts cutting off... She sounds like a bunny-boiler...
Maybe you should kiss him in public... In full sight of her... Or sleep with him just before she catches you two together... ;)

Tell me about it!!!!!! I can't think of a girl I've been with who hasn't screwed my head up. Come to think of it, I've been single for a year and my ex is STILL screwing my head up!!!
Although saying that, women probably do the same thing. Guess we'll never know why.....

It's not only guys.. girls do the same, fall for the wrong kinda guy exactly the kinda guy you friend is. it would probably be best to stay outta their way for a while, and who knows maybe he will realise wat he's got himself into and get outta there, then you can make you move...
