Aids is prevelant in Africa because in the late 70's and early 80's when Americans and other Europeons were supposed to be there to help the developing country get on there feet as far as health and nutrition growing their on vegetables building homes and more. But that was a lie they didn't do that instead they told them they were giving vaccines it was the Aids virus.

The spread of AIDS in Africa is due to several different factors. One of the major factors has been the lack of consideration for the humanity of the African people by the more "advanced" nations that are significantly controlled by the lobbies including the drug companies.

The poverty of the people, lack of education of risky behaviour, lack of some simple resources all have contributed significantly.

I believe that the main problem in developing countries is a lack of education and understanding of what AIDS is and how it is spread. If people are not educated against it then they cannot take appropriate measures to stop it from being spread.

Africa isn't America. What I mean is its a very poor country. They do not have the means to have testing or take expensive mends to maintain it. Its very sad but pharmaceutical company don't see profits for it there so in turn they don't really bother. I do not agree with this sadly its just the way it is.

Unfortunately the causes are many.

There is very limited and in most cases wrong use of condoms.
High levels of illiteracy hence no knowledge of contraception.
Local religions prevent them of exercising safe sex. In many cases they have rituals that they are supposed to protect them from HIV.
In other cases they are too poor to by condoms.
There is no control over prostitution.
Totally inadequate health care system.

A number of factors, lack of education, stigma in having the disease, false beliefs such as medicines won't work, raping a virgin will cure AIDS, men aren't the carriers, lack of medicines, stigmas about using condums

Lack of education, lack of medical care, lack of compassionate leaders, and (along with lack of education) some crazy assed ideas about how to "cure" AIDS (such as having sex with a virgin).

Maybe because condoms aren't sold at the closest store or that they aren't educated enough to know what condoms are
