I am a big fan of Weight Watchers. That is what I am on right now and I have already lost over ten pounds. I get to have everything that I want and I don't feel like I have to starve myself. It is not really a "diet" but a lifestyle change. You can do the program by going to meetings or signing up and doing it online, or you can find the information and guidelines on online and do it at home by yourself. That is what I have done. I do not feel the need to go and share my weight weekly with others and some members of the program SWEAR that it is the ONLY way to lose weight, but I don't agree with it. Just a personal thing. So if you would like I have all of the information that I could email you about how to get started and great support websites where you can not only go to get help, but it is FREE unlike going to WW meetings that can cost anywhere from $10-12 a week! If you are intrested just email me @ CRMartin666@yahoo.com. Thanks and I hope that no matter what you find a diet that is right for you.
PS. All of these people can give cocky answers of "eat less and workout" when they have never had to work out a day in their lives. I guess that they don't understand that normal people need a little help at times. Take care!

The GI Diet. This is scientifically proven by healthcare professionals to be an effective way to lose weight. The best thing about it all is that you should find yourself feeling hungry less and active more.

The key is to eat foods which are GI high. These foods release energy slowly and therefore stops you from becoming hungry often.

Of course alongside dieting, it would also be good to try to fit something active into your lifestyle. For example, you could take up a new sport, go jogging with your best friend a few times in the week.

Hope this helps! :)

The F=Plan diet was so called because the F was Fibre. Fibre has no calories and isn't digested and is good the the bowels! Fibre is basically cellulose - cotton wool is the closest you will get to pure fibre. It is contained in fruit and vegetables. So eat your 5 or more portions of fruit and vegetables a day and this will help fill you up and depress your appetite. Things high in calories are things high in fats and sugars. Red meat is high in saturated fat and so should be avoided. Chicken if you remove the skin - wrap it in foil and cook it in the oven is high in protein (good for building new muscle and stuff) and low in fat. If it's summer where you live. Try some salads, they don't have to be boring! I like salad with cold chicken or shell fish, lettuce, grated carrot (great for vitamin A), beetroot, pickles, low fat salad cream or mayonnaise, and just a few low fat french fries! Whole wheat bread has more fibre in it - if you like that sort of thing and there is a variety of low fat spreads. Be careful of sauces and soups - they can be quite high in fat and so can diary products. You can also burn up some calories with exercise. Keeping warm in winter also burns up calories. So turn down your thermostat on the heating and get used to having it a little cooler. Go walking or running in the cold and use the exercise to keep warm!

The best way to lose weight is simple forget diets just eat healthy food, lots of salad and veg try and cut too much sugar, salt, fats from your diet so aviod sugar in drinks, aviod chocolate, and fryed food, chicken and fish are very good foods to eat, but treat yourself once a week with a small amount of choclate or something you have cut out, along with the eating try and increase your heat rate at least twicw a week and watch the pounds fall off, good luck

DEFINITELY weight watchers!! i've tried nearly every diet you can imagine over the years, but so far weight watchers is by far the easiest to do, and it's working the best..the points system is SO easy, and there are no foods that are off limits..it's all about moderation...and i've only been on it for a couple of weeks now, but i've already lost 8.4lbs..my brother has lost 20lbs in less than a month...

CSIRO Wellbeing diet. It is pretty easy to follow because you can stick to the diet and not be hungry. It has high protein or meat, small amounts of carbs and lots of fruit and vegies. You can even have low fat ice-cream and custard.... It also allows for a treat once a week. If you do moderate excercise as well it helps alot. It is slower working than some diets but I found it easier to stick to than weight watchers.

You need to be disciplined with what you eat - cut out the junk and follow a healthy eating plan. Exercise is the real key though - I find walking 15-20 mins a day really helps.

I am on weight watchers, I have lost 9lb in 4 weeks. They don't make you cut stuff out, you get a daily points allowance which you spend on whatever foods you want, you ca earn points by doing exercise.

You automatically start choosing better healthier foods so you get more for your points.

My uncle did Atkins and he had weird side effects like bad breath and constipation. I don't belive in diets that cut out certain foods as it doesn't sound like a very balanced diet to me.

THAT is so funny you said that. FACT: is this, if you ingest or take in too many calories you will gain weight. IF you eat the right amount of calories you will maintain your weight. Ad if you reduce the amount of calories that you need you will reduce your weight.------------IT all boils down to how may calories .I am on a 1800 calorie reduction diet, right now and i am loosing. BE fore you start any diet do see your DR.
