Hey, we all need some TLC from time to time so I really sympathise. I'd listen all day if I could (though I'm supposed to be at work, damn internet) so send a big comfy hug through the ether to you.
For something closer to home, why not visit your nearest stray dog home? There's someone there who needs your hugs too and they'd be so loyal and attentive to you that they'd make any rainy day sunny and provide unrivalled entertainment. If you can't rehome a dog yourself, why not volunteer there for a couple of hours a week? They often need someone to sit in a kennel with a dog who's feeling so down they won't eat. With company they start to cheer up, to eat and generally get better and you can tell them how you feel at the same time, a mutually beneficial arrangement. Wouldn't that make you feel better?!
