Truth is relative. Relative meaning it only holds importance for the believer. If I were to tell you I have an ear ache, could I prove it? You couldn't touch it, smell it, hear it, taste it or see it, could you? Then how do you know I'm telling the truth? Only I know if I have an ear ache. The proof for you would have to come from trust and faith that I'm being honest about my ear ache. Sure, a doctor could prove it by looking at my inner ear with an otoscope, but you're not my doctor, so how would you know?

Truth has nothing to do with lack of or substance for evidence. Take a leap of faith. You might be surprised by the arms that catch you. Jesus loves you!

Hi,
I am a christian. Not only does the Bible state true facts, but also other books agree with what is stated in the Bible. I have been studying the Bible for about 15 years now and have worked in the field of nuclear research and taught science. I have yet to find anything in the Bible that is not true. Not all "religions" are the same. So, I recommend you check it out for yourself!

What I can tell you is that its ONLY based on FAITH you become a christian, there are no logical or scientific truths to some of their claims and teachings in the bible. this is due to the reason that there are several versions of the bible and they sometime teach you things which are not scientificallyly correct.

though Islam is faith based it gives logical and scientifical facts which are proved correct there is not a single false statement, contradiction in the quran so I invite you to read the quran and compare for yourself to find the truth

obviously you have 100% ignorance and zero tolerance if you asked such questions.. but it's always good to ask because then we know there are people who are still seeking the "truth"...

what i can say here is... faith is a concept of belief.. do u go around thinking.. i have faith if Lotto this week, and so what if you win? or not win??

there is historical evidance to support the bible.. if you search around, you'll also find that in various places (eg, greece, israel) are accounts of the gospel being written.. and these places do not have the INTERNET at that time, meaning, how can similar happenings be documented, but these people who write such stuff never communicated (because of distance?)

do not believe what you read.. the net is so full of balonies these days.. do not take what i say at face value... Go.. research... and see for yourself...

I think most people have a problem with admitting "I could be wrong". And evidence isn't needed if they feel God &/or Jesus has spoken directly to them. Their God is above any evidence man can offer (but they forget that it was man who offered the Bible as evidence to begin with). They simply take it all on faith and think everyone else should do the same.

Why would you ask this question? There has always been an abundance of physical evidence alone. There is always the historical evidence also. But even as we consider testimony in court a prime source of evidence and the more honorable and trustworthy the character of the one giving testimony gives more weight to it. God Himself has given His testimony in His word and so it carries plenty of evidence to support what are His claims not ours.

To disagree with the evidence is one thing but to say there is none is to close your eyes to the obvious.

I believe it may sometimes appear that way because God requires people to exercise their faiths in order to see and meet with him. But this doesn't mean their faith is 'blind'. The evidence is there, but it may often be personal to the seeker. God provides evidence for the true seeker often after an initial act of faith. And that evidence may not necessarily be what others would see to be 'evidence'. God is very personal, and he deals with people on a one-on-one basis.

So to answer your question, I would say that there may seem to be a 'lack of evidence' to yourself or others, but that on a very personal level, God may have shown that individual Christian all the evidence he or she needs to believe that God can be found through Christianity.

You hit the target, thank you. Every claim without strong evidences is just desires and dreams. God created the brain to think, and not to follow blindly. Every true prophet provided valid evidences for his people at his time. Only Islam provides the ever fresh miracle of Quran every where for people of all times.

It's the same with any religion. It's all based on faith which means that you believe something without needing proof.
