i like this girl in my previous school,i know her through my friend,i sms her everytime and she reply back???

but on 19 Feb,one day before my birthday,i quit my job and told her that and my birthday.and she told me she will msg me happy birthday tommorow.But then, i jokingly msg to her that she bring me happiness today because i quit my job,then she told me we were merely acquaintances! and she don't want me to get the wrong idea,and then she stop SMSing me anymore.. over 2 months i send so many messages to her but she never reply back.recently my friend saw her in a mall and he told me that she say she misses me. you see i'm also confused? i don't know whether she still like me or not.she didn't reply back to my msg but suddenly she says she misses me.(btw we are both 17)at first i thought my friend had played a joke on me,but then i didn't tell him that i never msg her for a long time already,so i believe that he told me the truth.. what i want to know is what do girls really think?? i realise that i actually dream about her each time i thought of her name..

actually i was fired,but i put i quit because it was embarassing..and i don't know where she lives..

Maybe she just got tired of sms...ing...if you ask me, if you sincerely like this girl you should have called her up a few times before when she was reciprocating.Its very hard to believe sms msges...sometimes they interpret it as just forwarded messages of concern.Maybe she didn't want you also to think that you can get your way with her with just mere sms messages...so she told you that you were mere acquaintances...I think when she said that...you should have really called her up...or stretched some more and visited her or something...you simply cannot establish a relationship sms...ing...That is an insult to any girl...if not entirely absurd to say the least. Well try sms...ing again and send her an honest personal message saying you're sorry for misinterpreting anything before and that you sincerely would like to get to know her better. If she answers...call her and be friendly and do try to get to know her better. As for you quitting your job..have you done anything about it? You should...girls also like their men to have some sense of security...they don't want guys who have a lot of hang-ups and don't do anything about their problems.If none of these work...you have plenty of time to become a better person...don't worry too much about it...gosh you're only 17 remember? I think she misses talking to you as a friend, but once you declared yourself and your feelings to her, she backed off, because she did not want to lead you on. Very mature decision for a 17 year old to make, by the way. Don't keep sending her messages, that could be considered stalking! Move on to someone who is interested in you the same way you are them!!!

hmm, it sounds like she might be pulling your chain little bit. You might have scared her a little bit when you made that comment to her, but then she said she missed you when you backed off. I would just try to play it cool and let her call the shots. If she really does miss you, she'll contact you!
