What's the difference between Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005? You see,my problem is that I need Visual Basic 6.0 but I can't find anywhere to download it, but I can download Microsoft SQL Server 2005...does SQL work the same as VB? Or do you know where I can download VB? Thanks!

When someone asks a question, the last thing they want or need is criticism....BOW4BASS..yeah,you.Don't answer the question unless you have the ability to do it in a mannerly form. And people ask questions to vertify or aquire information that they are ignorant of....no need to state that.

They are completely unrelated products. Visual Basic 6.0 was released quite a few years ago, so I don't think you'll have any luck finding it these days. It was superseded by Visual Studio, which runs Basic among other programming languages and is in its 3rd or 4th version now. Microsoft have made a pared-down version (Visual Studio Express) available as a free download, available from their website

They are two totally different languages. Visual Basics is a language for creating a website, its like a different language for building a graphical interface...different from JAVA but both are computer languages.

SQL is a query. The database is set up like a spreadsheet with columns and rows and it has its own language. Its a database construct.

Both are totally different.

If you want the full version of Visual Basic without purchasing it, then you need to download http://www.limewire.com and Im sure they have it there.
