Henna is not the right answer, once you use henna it will not come out, if you don't like it you will be stuck with it till you cut it out of your head (Due to metallic additives in it). They make a few other products like henna that are not as harm full to get out if ness. Bijan is one of the best I have ever worked with. It is permanent & it is chemical free. You mix it with water. You can find it at most beauty supply places (Sally Beauty Supply always has it). They make several shades of black also. Black-brown(not to dark), Black(regular),& Oriental Black(blue black). Instructions are easy to read also....Don't worry this is easy to do yourself..

There is a new hair dye out that is called 'ION' it has only been out since like December~it has less ammonia, and is meant for sensitive scalp~it works great~color if more vibrant and lasts alot longer~less smell, cause of ammonia~most whom are allergic to the dye is caused by the ammonia~you can also get a small tube that you add to your hair dye, it helps with no burning~there are alot of things you can do with your hair now a days~you can go into Beauty Supply shops and by most w/o being a professional hair dresser~Like 'Beauty CO.' or 'Sally's Hair Care' ~ Good Luck !!! :)

Try using henna powder make it into a paste , U can also add some coffee powder, leave this in the fridge over night and apply the next morning.Dont do this if U have a cold. Leave it on for atleast one hour.U can also try beetroot paste, but this is not permanent, but henna is try leaving it on a strand of grey hair before using it on the whole head so U know what colour it is.

Don't think it's possible without the chemicals contained within the Hair Dyes! ( They chemically alter the colour. )

henna would work-but if you perm, sometimes the perms come out with "spotty" curl pattern with henna on the hair. I believe boilage (professional) makes a color called "hybrid" (i think) that is natural, you can find out if a salon around you can get it.
