Man is free to choose good way. But in many cases man is not free e.g. Death is from Allah and no doby is free and many other things will have to occur by Allah.
But except the mindless (mental) person way of living can be choosed

Our lives are preordained. You only have the choice of whether you like it or not. If you think you're more righteous than your neighbor, or God, then you've Judged both. And that is a no no, and you will be Judged by God on both decisions.
Besides vague generalities, about wanting a more peaceful, more wonderful world, what can you change? Not much. Just your own attitude.
The good news is, since you've already made mistakes, you can say your sorry, and accept the world, your neighbor, and your self, just as you are. And work to improve yourself, to be a righteous example for your neighbor.
It really helps, if you understand more about the resurrection, and rebirth, as a knew person.

I neither a Calvinist or an Armenian. I think man is free to make his own choices. I think so. You could also argue otherwise from a few scriptures but I think this is a miss understanding. The Bible says in Titus 2
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Further the Bible says God is not willing that any man should perish.

I think man is free to choose his own path, less the teachings he has learned growing up. At this point he will judge himself, and consciously and or sub consciously punish himself for the wrongs he does through out his life.

Man is free to do every thing he does for his selfishness. But it is God's will which type of judgment HE gives

It depends from the point of view. From our point of view we can do something by our will. But from the point of His view this will is predestined, as many others things. So you can lift 30 kg because he made you able to do that, so to say. This means that we should do our best in all circumstances. At the end he is responsible for his creation, I have no doubt about is.
