one liter equals 0.264 gallons. How much it costs depends on how much per gallon it is. Right now it's about $2.70 per gallon

1 litre=.264 gallon, gas in Las Vegas is about $3.18
3.18 x 0.264= 84 cents a litre

we are paying around $2.95 per gallon but varies depending upon the part of the country. I am in Washington DC area.

Here in the US, we buy gasoline by the gallon, and it is about $2.75 - $3.00 per gallon right now.

there are 3.8 liters to a gal. us. so if gas is 3.00 gal the cost of a liter of gas would be 0.789 or 79 cents a liter
