If you mean a business quotation u have to mention at what rate u are offering the material u r dealing with..u have to also mention the validity of the quotation, the terms of payment..the time taken by you to supply the material..if you want advance payment you have to specify that as well..all this has to be on ur office stationery..

For Quotations, u should write a small sentence with deep meanings...Like " Smiling is a magic language of diplomacy that even a baby understands!"

To write a quotation within your own work place it within inverted commas, for example; As Juliet comments in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, 'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.'
