its called a fetish when you're turned on by something that isn't 'normal.'
for example there are foot fetishes (ive even heard of men who want to be shrunk so a woman can step on them with high heels) where the man is turned on by a womans feet or feet in sexy shoes.
There are many fetishes. some people have Latex fetishes, they're turned on by people wearing latex. some people have Dom/Sub fetishes, meaning they like their partner dominated or submissive in some way (think a woman on her hands and knees begging for sex from her 'master')
anyway theres all sorts of fetishes. so yeah, they're real. My fetish is Dom. without bondage, but i like it when my boyfriend dominates me. tells me what he wants me to do, or holds me against a wall and 'teases' me until i beg him to let me do whatever he wont let me do, kiss him, have sex, give oral, whatever it is he's keeping me from. i think thats HOT!

Yes, yes it is.
Fetish's and perversions are just situations that are different (or deviant) from what society considers norm.
This includes the society where you currently live and in the timeline in which you live.
My sexual beliefs, for example, were considered perversions for a very long time and people died in the past when expressing to others that they were gay or bi.
Now, when you look around, gay and lesbian culture has become more in than nearly everything else. It is in our culture via entertainment, advertisement, and yes, in politics.
Yesterday's perversions become today's acceptable practice and the past's beliefs become modern day illegal acts.
For example, it used to be that you could have sex with and marry a person at or around the age of 12. English common law, as a matter of fact, has the legal marrying age at 12.
Holy hannah, you couldn't get away with that now, as that would be pedophilia and wrong by all of today's standards.
So, to shorten what could be a book length response, the answer is yes, you are normal and as long as you are not breaking any current laws with your actions, you are fine.
Enjoy the sandals, and I truly hope that you are able to find someone in your life that can accept you for who you are and enjoy existing the rest of their life with you.

Yes, sexual perversions are normal. Just look in the dictionary under "perversion". Oh what. It says abnormality. So it can't be normal.
If sexual perversion were "normal", then people would be having sex with horses and little children and having thier genitalia mutilated so that they would vaguely resemble the opposite sex. And declaring sodomy to be equal to the miracle of life.
Oh wait... people do that already. I guess if enough people become perverts, then it's no longer immoral. We should start killing people and finding ways to legalize it.
Oh wait, we already kill the unborn and the handicapped and the elderly, and we already mutilate poor little animals in laboratory experiments that yield no scientific progress.
This all depends on your definition of normal. Over in the middle east, cutting the clitorises off of little girls with broken glass is considered normal, and killing non-arabs with rusty swords via decapitation is considered normal, and having 5 wives that you can legally cheat on is considered normal.
Why not do something constructive with your life instead of come up with sick fantasies?

But what is normal? If it gets you off, your partner/lover doesn't mind it then knock yourself out...however, its not the kind of thing I'd bring up on the first date over dinner.....
