I sincerely doubt that Satan could repent. Satan is used in the Bible as the personification of all evil, and without evil there can be no good (good is only good when there is evil to compare it to).

This also explains why god never tries to destroy Satan - he would destroy himself in the process.

Dear, the answer to your question is something only God could know.

Please do not confuse the Bible with the word of God almighty. Every book was voted on by a religious tribunal, and some were deleted. If Jesus were alive today, he would not expect you to believe every word of the bible, because there are hundreds of different versions of the Bible.

If you are looking for the truth, use the reason and logic God gave you, and do not blindly believe in anything, especially in what you read. Blind faith and true faith are not the same.

If you must be a christian, follow what Jesus said, which basically boils down to "do unto others..."

Faith doesn't have to be complicated, or about the ability to quote scripture. Would God want you to be a good student of the Bible (of which there are many) or simply to be a good person and be faithful to the truth itself?

I know this is not the answer you wanted, but remember, no earthly being could possibly know the answer to such a question with absolute certainty. Feel free to contact me if you wish to hear other viewpoints on God and existence.

God & Satan are no different than two guys sitting at a table playing chess or some other board game.

Humans are pawns in their game and the objective is to collect as many pieces (souls) as possible before the game ends (at some unknown time to us).

Satan doesn't need to repent, he isn't doing anything for which he needs to repent. He and God are buddies and this is all just a game to them.

But, the reality is the bible is a book of mythology and neither of them exist.

Satan will not repent, he chose to rebell against God. The Bible says that after Satan is bound for 1,000 years he will be cast into the Lake of Fire. There he will remain for all eternity. The reason Satan will not repent is because he was in heaven with God, he knew full well the consequinces of his actions, and yet he still chose them, whereas man was tempted by Satan, and lied to.

you need to read Revelation very very closely.

Satan is bent on rebellion.. he will never repent.

after being let loose he will go to deceive again..

but God will not have it, and Satan will meet his end.

" 7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. " --- Revelation 20:7-10

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.
Rev 20:3 And he cast him into the abyss and shut him up and set a seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be fulfilled. And after that he must be loosed a little time.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor his image, nor had received his mark on their foreheads, nor in their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison.
Rev 20:8 And he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of them is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth and circled around the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them.
Rev 20:10 And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And a place was not found for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

When before he became satan, he lived in the very presants of God and he saw everything that God was and is, God can not show more of Himself to that person, and in the face of this he decided to turn his back on God and sin, and in anycase satan can not neither can you or me "decide" to repent except from the power of God, and once that power is refused, there is Nothing else God can do for that person. We because of sin have A nature like satan, and we can NOT choose evil because it is already there, it is ONLY when God is calling that one can have A choice, and decide to follow God, it is very dangerous to play with sin, leave it alone, it will in the end kill you.

No he has no grace from God that is why he hates us so much. There is no scripture to say Satan gets to repent. Revelation 20:2 NLT

He seized the dragon -- that old serpent, the Devil, Satan -- and bound him in chains for a thousand years.

After he is loosed again, it goes on to say he will be forever cast into the lake of fire. So, I would say No, partly because he was an Angel, not given free will, and not covered under Jesus plan of Salvation that was for Man, and because of the following verse I first mentioned.

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

It is tempting to simply assert that Satan will not repent, and that is true. But how can we be sure? What makes Satan and the demons any different from wicked humans who repent?

While there is no direct biblical support for the idea, it seems likely that angels, with their direct and instant communication with the Almighty, have no need for faith or consciences like those of humans. Consider these thoughts:

1. Angels are superhumanly intelligent and capable of instantly and perfectly understanding Jehovah's will and the divine standard for every matter. There seems no way that an angel could become MORE intelligent apart from an increase from Jehovah.

2. Angels are superhumanly powerful and capable of perfectly controlling the actions of their spirit bodies. There seems no way that an angel could become MORE powerful apart from an increase from Jehovah.

3. At no time are angels uninformed or confused about the facts of Jehovah's standard. They fully understand the repercussions of rebellion against God and choose the temporary enjoyment of sin (Compare Heb 11:25).

Thus, when an angel chooses to abandon Jehovah's will and sever his connection with the Almighty, that now-demon angel does so with his eyes open, as it were. A demon angel does not have any mechanism within himself to correct that personality flaw. Demons do not have any way to attain the increased intelligence or power to overcome their separation from the Almighty, and no basis upon which to request such from the Creator (as humans have in Christ's ransom sacrifice).

Humans ARE able to grow in intelligence and spiritual power with the help of God's Holy Spirit, and faith in Christ. Also, the divine and merciful gift of human conscience allows humans to continually analyze our actions and make corrections as our knowledge and appreciation for divine standards improves.

The ONLY standard the angels have been given is direct and perfect understanding of God's divine standard. Without an independent conscience such as humans have, it is impossible for a demonic angel to repent.

Incidentally, these ideas are NOT part of the doctrine of any known religion. Jehovah's Witnesses best explain the actual nature and future for Satan and his demons.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that Satan will be destroyed for all time; there is no "do-over" or eternity of hellfire. While most bible terms for death ("grave", "hell", "Hades") generally permit the possibility of resurrection, the terms "lake of fire", "Gehenna", and "second death" refer to death without the possibility of resurrection. Revelation actually indicates that after Armageddon, after dead humans have been resurrected, after resurrected mankind has been tested, then Satan (and the concept of death requiring resurrection) will be destroyed forever.

(Revelation 20:10-14) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire... And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.
