Yes, if you have a crowd of vegans to watch you eat it.

Frankly, the thought of eating dog meat makes me want to throw-up. But I reckon it would depend on the situation. If I was on a journey far from home, and the setting was a glorious mountainous scene, and I lost my way in the mountains; and became very hungry, then I would be looking for something to eat. I would try to survive on fruit and nuts but if there was not any of that then I would have to turn to an alternate source. Lets say, I was walking down a path and I was so hungry that I had hunger pains. I have not eaten anything in days. All of a sudden I came around the bend in the road and found a dead dog laying in the road. I walk over to it and examine it and discover that it had just been hit by a vehicle. It is bleeding so I know that it has just been hit recently. It is not breathing so I definitely know that it is dead. I know that the situation is either eat it or die. I believe I would skin that dog and try to enjoy. After all there is nothing wrong with fresh road-kill.

It depends on the indivdual, really. Ever since humans started rearing dogs as pets the emotional attachment and moral obligation to dogs does not allow humans to eat dogs.
To some people, their pet dog is like their little children. Can you imagine eating your own child?
Some people in Asia still eat dogs (eg. China, Korea, etc) because they do not have an emotional attachment to dogs. You'll find that these people most definitely do not have dogs as pets, nor do they treat dogs as part of their own family.

The reason most people are revolted by, the thought of, eating dog is due to giving them human names. This is applying human qualities to an animal and makes eating dog like cannablism.
When I was very young, my grandmother had a chicken coop in back of her house. Every other Sunday we went to Grandma's for a big Southern Fried Chicken dinner. Since I never saw her kill any chicken, I didn't associate the chicken we ate as coming from the coop. After all, my mom bought her chickens at the store.
One of her chickens took to me on my first visit. I was sitting in the yard and it came and got on my lap. So I gave her a name. A couple of visits later, Grandma heard me calling the chicken by name and said "Don't name the chickens". I didn't pay any attention and kept calling her by her name. I really loved that chicken.
About six months later Grandma asked me to help her feed the chickens. We went to the coop and she threw some corn at her feet. The chickens came and started eating. I didn't know an old woman could be that fast. In a blurr she reached down a grabbed my friend by the head and flung her in a circle until her head came off. Her body landed a few feet away and started running around, blood spurting from her neck. It seemed in about 10 seconds she decapitated 3 hens. When they stopped running around, Grandma said "Pick em up by their feet and bring em in the house". By this time the shock was wearing off and I started crying like a baby. I carried them and watched her gut and defeather them.
Later that afternoon, at the table, I refused to eat my friend. Grandma made a simple comment "I told you not to name her. Now your gonna go hungry". Took me 5 years to start eating chicken again.
The motto of this story? Don't name you dog and you can eat it for a Sunday feast.

No, dogs are bad for your health...you should avoid eating them. However, dog feces is high in vitamins and fiber, and quite delicious to boot! So, if you start having a craving to eat a dog, do yourself (and the rest of us) a favor and eat his sh!t instead!

If some people like it they can eat it.
I dont know why people consider dog eaters as "inferior" humans.
Vegetarians dont like non vegetarians the same way ...they find it outrageous that people can eat animals...
Now if you r n "animal eater",you consider yourself to be normal...nothing wrong about it.
It is all about your traditions...nothing to do with good or bad

In some oriental countries it’s a traditional food. Perhaps they are yummy, I don’t know. It’s just like an animal like chicken, pigs or cows, so why not?
