Love bondage is great! Adding a blindfold to the sex games gives it a whole new aspect. Restraints are fun too, but you have to be able to trust your partner absolutely.
Domination/submission games are not my thing, but can be fun, or so I am told.
S/M is a whole different thing and that is a point that many people answering your question haven't got yet. Some pain, like ice cubes, love bites, light spanking when somebody is sexually excited heightens the passion, at least for me.
Why *dump* someone who is into it? What they do in their bedroom is entirely their business. Not mine.

2) it's not for everyone, but it's not necessarily "weird", just unusual.

4) No I wouldn't dump someone if they were into it, BUT, there's a difference between "safe, sane, consensual" and criminal behavior. If someone wanted to do something dangerous, was really into causing me pain or permanently marking me, and didn't care if I didn't enjoy it or not, then yes I'd dump him. Bondage only looks like abuse from the outside, the way stunts in movies only LOOK dangerous. Movie stunts are actually very safe because everyone works hard to make it that way.
Likewise, D/s is just role-playing, just acting. If someone actually thought I was a second-class person, deserved to be degraded or humiliated, or that I wasn't an equal, then yeah, it would be goodbye.
Most "mainstream" people just use this as foreplay between equals.

Some people like it, but it's something i'd never do. I think its quite weird in fact. The whole BDSM thing seems like a bunch of perverts too me, and it's no telling what kind of crap the worst of them are doing.
Sex is supposed to be a beautiful thing. Why make it dark and ugly?

I think everyone has a specific curiosity or maybe a hidden fantasy...that doesn't make it weird.
I would try something different...once.
However...I will have to say...sadly...I dumped a girl for getting her tongue pierced. But not because it was odd...because she insisted that she wasn't doing it for sexual reasons...she was doing it for fashion. That was weird to me.

I have tried it with my ex bf we were dating for four years and wanted to do something different and we like it. We got the whip, handcuffs, blindfolds and restraints and we still till this day play a little dirty for something different. I say if you want to explore than do it : )

Depends if 'pain' is your thing. You have to agree on a level of intensity that both like. Not my thing anyway.

I am actually not into the whole S&M thing but I am open to experimentation with limits...the whole idea of pleasure from pain...I don't get it....whips and chains...not my thing..
