Normally it spreads by someone coughing or sneezing over someone else or coughing/sneezing into your hand and then touching someone else or something like a door handle which is then touched by others.

there are many types of viruses and bacterias which causes cold and cough..
these pathogens usually spread by air through droplets of your sneeze and cough..
Different pahtogens needed different pathways to spread..but if it s respiratory infections then it s usually by air anf contact..
