Canker soar. Swish some warm salt water in your mouth. It's gonna taste nasty, but it works. Medically proven. It's not a wives tale.

The skin on the inside of your mouth goes white when it dies, so you might have bitten down hard and broken the skin, making it white while the fact that you bit it made it swollen and sore. Also could be a canker. Either way, if it persists and gets worse, get it checked out.

Canker sores are common. Apparently no one really knows what causes them and there is no medication that can heal it. (Though some believe it's due to eating sour stuff) Some people use water and salt, baking soda and salt, and some also say Hydrogenperoxide. For me, whenever I have them I simply keep my teeth/mouth clean by gently tooth brushing and using mouthwash. It should heal within a week at most.

Sounds like a canker sore, DONT BITE IT WHATEVER YOU DO!! Do like the other guy said, swish some warm saltwater around in your mouth. Like actually, take a teaspoon or so of tablesalt and stir it up in a glass of water and use it like mouthwash. It will taste like you just licked the bottom of your shoe, but it will make you feel better. Dont swallow it though, studies prove that by drinking salt water, you can imitate symptoms of having morning sickness.

It can look like cottage cheese, but when scraped away, the area appears red and raw and may bleed.

A canker sore.....I get them periodically. They are caused by stress. If it really hurts unbearably, put some Campho-phenique on it. It will burn like fire at first but then it will stop hurting for a good 20-30 minutes.

Possibly a canker sore, but to be sure I would go get it checked out by your dentist. Dentists specialise in other aspects of oral health, not just teeth ;)
