A gift is something that is "given" not asked for.

Here is the exact definition:
Something that is bestowed voluntarily and without compensation.

When someone gives you a gift, they choose what to give you.
It's greedy and impolite to ask for gifts (unless you're asking Santa Claus ;o)

When you think about it, it's fun to receive something that's a complete surprise, and nice to know that someone is paying attention to you, and taking notice of your likes and dislikes.

When someone puts thought and effort into your gift, it means so much more :o)

Happy birthday :o)

Well, assuming that you really love the 360, you might want to ask for more games or even better yet, a gift card for a store that sells the games so that you can get what you want when they come out.

If you don't already have one yet, an Ipod along with an itunes account so that you can download a bunch of music, that's a great idea.

If you don't already have a computer of your very own, perhaps a nice computer or laptop so that you can get one customized to your tastes.

An ATV, they are a freakin' blast and they are for all ages.

One of the new RoboSapien's, they are pretty freakin awesome, but kinda geeky.

There are millions of choices. Take a look through a store catalog and see what looks like fun, or see what all of your friends are using that you don't have.

Hope that this helps.

Love as always,

Sebastian

To Yahoo Answers Members: I think everyone has been really hard on this boy. He's a teenager. I would not expect him to fix the world because he gets exactly what he asks for. It's not his fault and it's not his parents' fault. Let him have his youth while he still has it.

To the Asker: Just be a teen while you still can. If you have to ask for anything, ask for a family party/barbeque, something that will hold valuable memories. Hey, by inviting your family over (maybe from all over), you can get more than you ever wanted.

Hmmmmm...well, since you're a teen, I would consider some of the following:

--a cell phone (if you don't have one)
--an ipod (if you don't have one)
--a new game for your xbox.
--the latest CD that you're interested in.
--if you don't spend much time with your parents, and you'd like to, ask them to take you to dinner. Ask if you can bring your best friend.

I wish you an excellent birthday!!! Enjoy this time of being young and carefree. Soon enough you will grow up into a young man with responsibilities and you will look back on your teen years with great fondness. Until then, party on!

If you have all the "things" that you want and still aren't satisfied, I'd suggest asking your parents to let you get a job. You will value the "things" in your life more when you know what it takes to earn them. And, no offense, but you come across like a spoiled child with too many toys. They aren't making you happy and yet you think the answer is to ask for more/better of the same

A paypall account with 1000$ to buy all the junk you want from ebay
or even better:
An account to an online stock & shares company with 1000$ in it. You play on the stock and shares market - btw that may change your opinion about books- and if you get good on it, next birthday you may be in a position to buy expensive gifts to others.

Boy you presume you are going to get gifts, That must be nice. My kids do that too! I just wish they would express more appreciation for all that we go through and spend on them. Remember that okay? Do you have that coveted IPOD yet? I hear they are the got to have thing these days? Cell phone? How about Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2, I loved part one and they are just releasing for your XBOX? have fun.

A walmart gift card should do the trick. They have a lot of items to choose from. You should also find some way to give to the needy that day. Cause sometimes it is better to give then to receive. And it would be so cool to be able to give and get all in one day.

Ballroom dance lessons. Every young man should learn to dance. Trust me on this. I have 2 boys and they both dance - they are champion competitive dancers. They have been dancing since very young, about 3 years old. Both of my boys are total chick magnets! These guys are NEVER left sitting at any dance and all the hot chicks always want to dance with them.
