I recently moved from a place 4 hours away and hired movers to empty out my huge storage, drive 4 hours, and unload it all in my garage and house. I tipped them both $50 each. $25/ea. is a good tip if they do a good job. I paid the company $800 for the total bill plus gave them each $50 so they got paid good. Pay attention to see if they bump into walls while carrying in items like refrigerators, big items. Deduct or dont tip at all if they are wreckless.

Yes. Definitely tip them. These guys work their a$$es off. They deserve a tip. We usually tip movers about $25.00 each, but we've usually only moved within a few miles of our last residence. Our next move will be out of state so I am sure we will tip a lot more.

no, but it's nice to have like some lunch and refreshments for them. when i move i normally grab a pizza and soda half way through. this way they eat, take a break, and know that you appreciate the work they do.

Yes. I work for a moving company. $10.00 is good. They've just busted their butt for you. Tips are very appreciated. I've been tipped up to $40.00; several times.
