Treat the son well. I have 3 boys, men now, and what I want for them is someone who is good for them. If the girl meets that critiera, she's great in my book.

My wife spent a day or two on shopping sprees and such at some malls a bit farther away than the next town/city over. She got to know my mother, and eventually earned her respect. Im sure it was very uncomfortable at first, but at the very least my wife learned a lot about my mother and from what I can tell, had a fun time. May not be the answer, but some one on one time might just be the ticket.

I won't bother to do it. If her son loves you he will marry you regardless of what his mother feels. If you have to convince his mother, then you will be listening to her for the rest of your married life.

Always be loyal and good to him, and really, if he is the one for you it really doesn't matter what his mom thinks. She will either learn to love you or deal with it.

by being yourself and real...! she will notice if you try to hard, then she wont' like u because you are trying to impressive.. be real.. ! she can only accept u for who u are.. and if she wasn't so selfish, she accept her sons decision as the best!

Don't make yourself into someone you're not just so that she will like you. You can't "make" her like you; she either will or she won't...that part isn't up to you.

well with a real good experience i can tell u clearly that to impress ur boyfriends mum u can do............'NOTHING'.............no matter wat u do she will hate u all the same.
