It's long overdue that we start to produce our food ourselves.

G.M. / intensive farming is the least of your worries, the food on the supermarket shelf is so manufactured and processed that it is nearly impossible to eat anything like a natural product. Even fruit and veg is waxed / dyed / treated with chemicals. This mass production process destroys so much of the natural goodness in food and adds so much artificial elements that it can be directly linked to the rise in allergy / obesity in children (who, over the age of 25 remembers their class at school having athsmatics / people with peanut allergies / gluten allergy / food intolerances etc?)

I'd be more than happy to grow my own food / farm my own animals and equally happy to slaughter and butcher my own meat, peaople have lost their relationship with food.

Turkey twizzlers anyone?

~Now why on earth would I want to shoot a tomato. I grow much of my own produce in my garden alreay, and I've never had to shoot a single plant, although some weeds deserve it.
I am only too happy to hunt and shoot my own meat. Without hunting, the game population would over-populate itself into extinction. The Sierra Club proved that decades ago.

I don't eat meat so I wouldn't be affected. I'd carry on growing my own, organic vegetables in my garden so my children can continue to grow up healthy. Mind you, if they were starving, I'd shoot anything so they could eat!

I wouldn't shoot the animals, but I'd need to eat, so would there still be plant farmers?

Yes I could do it, better than the alternative of starvation. I could not gut it though, far too messy and smelly!

well my bf goes shooting with his friends and he brings stuff home and his mum cooks it for a family meal, so if we had to i would be alright, however i wouldn't cook it myself because i think it's gross and i don't eat meat.
