Assuming a single, alone God, then what outside God could not be used since there is nothing outside of this assumed, alone God, so we must all dwell in God, using this line of reasoning. Are we then anything more, or less, than the directed thoughts of God?

Just because a stray thought is unaware of the other thoughts does not mean the Whole Mind is not aware of all of them... "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..." according to the gospel of John, and the "Word" in Greek was Logos, meaning thought, or originator of the action...

Understanding the full answer to your question would require full conscious knowledge of how such an act could be/was performed, but the short answer is God "created" all because all is One, though the lesser component parts are not aware of it, any more than your cells are aware of you.

Let us think about ourselves first, then we shall think of aliens. I am not sure whether God created us or not cause if God created us, As being the almighty and universal father why would he create all sufferings and all of us differently with different standards. I don't believe God created us too. so definitely God is not the creator of this world or aliens. God is the creator means he does not sits and creates our bodies and lives, He changes the world from Bad to good. We all know life began with the first single cell organism. It took evolution 65 million years from that stage to see man walk on earth.

So... where does god come here??

I strongly believe in God as a faith. But not the crap the religious leaders spread accross and the blind followers believing everything they say.

Are you aware there are people who still believe that mankind is still what it was 1000 years ago? Not aware where technology has advanced... only because their "shamen" or their religious leader tells them so? They do not believe in things like airplanes, telephones, cars, space, moon travel etc because they are not allowed to believe it. If they try to they are shunted from the society.
