The Vagina Monologues is like a touring 'show', created by a woman who wanted to make people aware of woman and to empower woman with confidence and selfworth. Today, groups of people travel putting on "The Vagina Monologues" as well as college campuses organizing their own performances.

Typically, the performance is focused on a series of individual character's monologues, which each are to describe real life examples of woman's stories, which contain a message to be learned in each one.

The monologues can become very extreme, ranging from ranting and cursing, to very sexual and graphic stories. This is only becuase real life is this way, and it's just an honest show.
