Both are absolutely correct. The adverbial phrase can optionally be placed in several different places in English. They mean slightly different things, though. One means that you know a word in your native language but don't know the English translation. Two means that you may know the English word, but you don't know how to pronounce it.

The first one is easier to comprehend, and would probably benefit from a comma between 'say' and 'in English'.

I think the correct choice is #1. If you were to simplify the sentence as follows: "I don't know how to say the word in English" - - it makes more sense than - - "I don't know how to say the word that I want to say". I hope this helps.

The first is better. The second one is an example of a misplaced modifier which means that in the second sentence you are putting the words in the wrong places, which makes the meaning of the sentence all wrong.
