That there are only 144,000 people going to heaven and they've all been selected already.
that the civilized world will crumble into ruins before the last WWI veteran dies (and the few left alive are all over 100!) So there's no purpose in getting a good education or starting a career, because you're wasting your time.
That the church is more important than your family, substitutes for your family if you have to choose.
That anyone who leaves their church is EVIL. Doesn't that sound like a smear and an exaggeration? Check this link:

Ask one the next time they call at your door, instead of closing the door and asking people on the internet, most of whom will give you untrue answers, I have read some of the comments already posted and some of them are not true, there is too much false information about JW's on the net. Look at their official website, that's the only palce you are going to get the right information. I AM NOT A JW, but have taken the time to check out the info for myself as I was told a lot of wrong things about the religion and wanted to ask someone who actually knew what they were talking about.

They believe that basically they are all going to go to heaven no matter what and we are going to go to hell. We are all doing wrong and they are the ones who do right by following their lessons.
